Lord,
You built a holy Church, founded upon the apostles with Jesus Christ its cornerstone.
We pray for this church of St Luke’s not a building of bricks and mortar but a church of living stones, of people young and old, from every corner of the world who gather here in this place at this time in history to follow you in the spirit of St Luke the Apostle and all those on whose shoulders we stand.
Help us to grow closer to you and to each other as we proclaim your Gospel of love to the people of Flat Bush. May we always be aware of and reach not to others as you guide us.
Bless our efforts with fruit that will last.
